Millet has 6 times more fiber than wheat. It’s also a rich source of bone-building minerals: calcium & phosphorus and has a great antioxidant profile, making it the perfect replacement for wheat or rice.
Millet can also help: decrease high blood pressure, control diabetes, slow down muscle degradation, aid sleep, relieve menstrual cramps and improve skin elasticity.
I love it in its puffed form as a base for post fun, snack bowls. In this one I used:
Puffed Millet
Apples with Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Clove Powder
Cashews
Unsweetened Toasted Coconut Flakes
Chia soaked in Almond Milk
Topped with Honey, Soy Milk and Spirulina Powder (Spirulina Powder after the pretty Instagram shot of course)
